Farm Life Alpha Build

The year is 2009 and there is a popular farm game going around the internet. Everyone is playing it, and even if they aren't playing it, they are getting stupid notifications from the friends. Fast forward 11 years and this game is still around, but is a shadow of its former glory. That beloved game has morphed and mutated into something horrendous, virtually unplayable. 

Those who seek to experience days bygone and play the fun version will only be disappointed while searching through the internet, or through various app stores because there is nothing like that game from a decade ago....until now. 

Farm Life is an old school farming sim where all you have to worry about is money and time. With enough of either currency, you will be able to accomplish anything in game. No premium currencies, no "help" from friends. Just you, and the farm. 

Come and play test the fourth edition of a much larger idea. Experience 26 different crops with more on the way. Plant 9 different trees though they really aren't that different. Bring a few animal friends along with you. There are 6 to choose from.

Be on the look out for updates that will add: Farm Expansions, and Decorations.

------BASIC CONTROLS-----

• Move the screen with WASD, or with the mouse at screen edges, but the feature needs to be 'unlocked' with Space Bar.  
• Click a tool to activate it and use it. 
• Plow, Plant, Harvest, Repeat
• In the market, find the crop you want and click the buy button, then click on plowed plots to plant the seed
• Auto save interval is 2 minutes
• Click the settings to save or load manually
• if you close the game and relaunch, click the load button to load your progress, if any time has passed, it will be added to the crops. 
• Right Click to clear the tool/seed/tree you're holding.

------ADVANCED CONTROLS aka: Hacks-----

• Press 'k' to add a lot exp, if you're low level, you might have to get some exp naturally for the level up to happen.
• Press 'j' to add a little exp
• Press 'c' to add some coins

I know that most browsers will treat this file as something un-trustworthy and then most antivirus software, including Windows itself will discourage you from opening things from untrustworthy sources. This is excellent advice and I hope you trust me enough to open my game anyways. 

------Alpha 'Perks'-----

I included dandelions for times when the player might get stuck without any money and cannot progress, but during development, I made the mistake of leaving dandelions OP and have since decided to keep it that way for a while. Dandelions are free to plant, grow quickly,  provide good income and provide waaaaaay more experience than they should. So enjoy getting to end game crops faster than usual.

Sometimes, during long play sessions, the store page will deliver the wrong item. IE: if you click on a cow, but get a pig, just save and restart the game.
